On to the second party. There was a Halloween party at Kara's ward the Wednesday before Halloween. For this party Leta was a very blue, very cute Smurfette.

Halloween

So the previous posts were early October. Yes I'm behind already. Then began the week long celebration of Halloween. What happened to the one day event. Now there are so many activities from the library story hour(shown below) to businesses to church parties. It's fun for the kiddos though. On the left is my new grandson Joel. Below is my granddaughter Emma.
'Under Emma is my other granddaughter Leta. She is Sassy. Cassie's Sister off dragon tales. They enjoyed spooky tales at the library story hour.

First real snow.

So my daughter got my granddaughter up and brought her out to the dining room and told her she had a surprise for her. She took her to the sliding glass door and showed her the snow. The following dialogue took place. Leta-what is that? Kara-That is snow. Leta-where did it come from? Kara-Heavenly Father and Jesus sent it. Leta-Did they send it because I was a good girl and went to church? Kara-Sure. Ah the innocence of children.

Being a farm girl at heart, I have enjoyed going out and feeding the chickens with my granddaughter Leta. Gotta love the hat and no pants. Lol

Getting Started
